Hello Friends, Boston, Massachusetts is my hometown. I grew up on fresh seafood, worked summers on the Martha Vineyard shucking clams and oysters, making “chowda,” and lobstering in Portland, Maine. Since then, I have traveled the world working for legends in the hospitality industry including Lawrence Rockefeller of Rock Resorts, Horst Schulze with Ritz Carlton Hotels and Adi Kohler on the Big Island of Hawaii at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel.

The past year and a half have been hard on just about everyone. When we drafted this newsletter, the virus was in decline and normality would return. We would once again, be able to shake hands, give a hug, and enjoy a great big belly laugh. We continue to closely monitor the situation, and the safety of our guests is our highest priority. The Hideout is off to a fantastic start in 2021! Last fall we opened The Oaks at 14, a new enclave of homes situated perfectly along the 14th fairway and green. We are thrilled to welcome our first homeowners to the new section in one of our first move-in ready homes!

The holiday season is here! The Hideout golf Club & Resort is embracing the holiday spirit and has decorated our Lodge festively for the season! Winter annuals have been planted around the resort to preserve the beautiful Hill Country landscape our guests and owners have come to love and cherish. The golf course has been overseeded with winter rye to maintain its amazing grounds throughout the winter months.
