With a Stay & Play package, you can discover your swing through unlimited rounds of golf. Stay & Play packages start at $149 per night per person and include full use of resort recreation including swimming pools, access to water sports on Lake Brownwood, and your choice of accommodations: Lodge Room, Cabin or Ranch House—all in addition to unlimited golf, including cart.

Fish to your heart's content
The Hideout offers easy accessibility to fishing and water sport recreation. Fishing at Lake Brownwood is a popular activity among many club members and resort guests, as the environment of the lake offers a colorful array of wildlife year-round—even during cooler Brownwood weather.
During the cooler months, you can expect to catch a large quantity of Largemouth Bass in the lake. The best bait we recommend for attracting these fish is crayfish, shad and artificial lures.
Look for Largemouth Bass in their favorite "hideout" — hidden among plants, rocks, roots, or trees for either shelter or food.
Rare sparrows spotted in the cooler Brownwood weather
Imagine waking up to the enchanting sounds of birds chirping right outside your door. The resort offers a tranquil escape in the heart of Texas where you can do just that.
An advantage of this hidden location is the abundance of wildlife that is right in plain sight. Just grab your favorite birding binoculars and head to the resort's hills to see what you can find! Make sure to also pack a field guide to help differentiate between the various species of native birds.

Hunting is a popular activity at nearby ranches in the Texas Hill Country. The Hideout's ideal location gives you access to a wide variety of game year-round. You can expect to find deer, turkey, dove, quail, duck, javelina, and rabbit — just to name a few! Lake Brownwood State Park
The state park is perfect to explore during the cooler Texas winter weather. The park is home to some of the most loved hiking trails in Brownwood, Texas. Our club members and guests enjoy easy access to this well-ranked state park full of history and outdoor recreation that's fun for the whole family. Over 3 miles are reserved for a plethora of activities like hiking, picnicking, camping, boating and so much more!

Cozy up by the fire pit. The Ranch House features 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a sleeper sofa. Each home is equipped with a full kitchen and covered deck. The Ranch House is a great option for larger parties and offers open social spaces for guests to enjoy.
In addition to real wood-burning fireplaces in our Ranch Houses, the resort also offers fireplaces in our main dining area and outside by our amphitheater—perfect for s'mores, a live concert and looking up at the stars on clear nights.
