The Hideout Golf Club & Resort is nestled along the shores of Lake Brownwood, a picturesque 7,500-acre lake that is home to a splashy array of water sports and outdoor recreation.
In addition to all the swimming, RV camping, boating, tubing, jet skis, and fishing that can be enjoyed on Lake Brownwood, nearby Lake Brownwood State Park has a wealth of recreational facilities within its 537-acres, including docks, camping, and nearly six miles of nature trails to explore.
Lake Brownwood lures anglers to its waters year-round, with bass, catfish, crappie, and sunfish available for those skilled with rod and reel.

Scheduled to be completed in 2022, The Hideout’s new lakefront amenity will include a fishing and boat dock, kayak and canoe launch, and an open-air pavilion with outdoor grills, seating areas, fire pit, and more!
The RV Park at this family resort in Central Texas offers 16 RV sites including available pull-through sites. Amenities include 50 amp/30 amp/110 plug ins, and water and sewer hookups.
Sites are for members only and are free for a limited number of consecutive days each month.
While The Hideout is the perfect place to unplug and unwind, we also provide everything you need to keep fit here in Central Texas. Our new fitness center is furnished with state-of-the-art strength and cardio equipment in an inviting atmosphere overlooking the golf course and resort.
In addition, The Hideout offers a full complement of group exercise opportunities led by certified trainers. Classes include high intensity boot camps, water aerobics, dance party cardio, mixed martial arts, restorative yoga and more!
